Conversation 1: making a shopping list

Role-play practice
- Missing product: Ask an employee for an item, learn it is out of stock, and request an alternative.
- Confusing offer: Ask whether two different flavors qualify for a multibuy discount.
- Payment problem: Your contactless payment fails. Ask to insert the card and try again.
- Wrong price: Explain that the shelf price and scanned price are different.
- Return: Bring back a damaged product and ask for an exchange.
Speaking upgrade: sound more natural
Do not memorize every dialogue as one fixed script. Keep the sentence pattern and change one detail. “Where can I find the rice?” becomes “Where can I find the batteries?” “Could I have a bag?” becomes “Could I have two bags?” This trains flexible speaking.
