How to study each free lesson

  1. Read for meaning: understand the situation before studying individual words.
  2. Notice complete phrases: learn “Could I have…?” as a reusable pattern, not separate vocabulary.
  3. Speak both roles: practise rhythm, politeness, and question forms aloud.
  4. Answer without looking: cover one role and produce your own response.
  5. Change the details: use your destination, hotel, meal, problem, or travel dates.

Choose lessons at the right difficulty

If you need predictable, short conversations, begin at A1–A2. If you can manage routine exchanges but struggle when something goes wrong, work at B1. For detailed explanations, negotiation, and flexible conversation, practise at B2. Our English levels A1–B2 guide explains the differences.

New lessons will be added around real situations—not random vocabulary. Bookmark this page as the main directory for free Skillful English lessons.
